Angie Harmon is an American actress and model, who has appeared in numerous of television and films throughout the years. She began as a model but after she gained international recognition she decided to try acting. The beginning of her acting career came in 1995 when she starred in the show Baywatch Nights. Also, she does voice-acting as well as voice-overs. Harmon has walked away from TV and focused on movies in the early 2000s. After a brief hiatus, she returned to TV appearing in a few films. She is among the actresses that have taken a photo of themselves naked for "Allure" magazine since the year 2008. In the role of Detective Jane Rizzoli, she has starred in TNT's "Rizzoli & Isles. The show was praised in her role as a detective, and won awards. Angie Harmon was nominated over these past years for her outstanding performances, however she was not awarded any prizes.
