Anne W. Burrell, an American television chef and an former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. She is the host of Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and also serves as co-hosting Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, with her famous spiky blonde hair and pumped-up persona on the Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Cook series, provides an easy and straightforward cooking techniques that are suitable for the home cook. Chef Burrell studied and worked at the top New York restaurants. He has also competed in Iron Chef America and the cuisine of Italy. While growing up in the upstate New York area, Chef Burrell found a passion of cooking and food from a young age. The Culinary Institute of America was the next step for her after she graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in English and Communications in the fall of 2004 from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was an unforgettable experience for me. It was impossible to take enough out of the experience. When I graduated of the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners chef Burrell was able to spend a whole year in Italy learning and working in La Taverna del Lupo restaurant in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 one Michelin star in Tuscany. While in Italy, she developed a profound appreciation and understanding of Italian food and culture. This is a huge influence on the way that Burrell prepares her food. Burrell was a Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board members, which strives to enhance the quality of life for children who face obstacles. Burrell also serves as an Juvenile Disease Research Foundation's celebrity spokesperson and promotes awareness about the dangers of childhood diabetes. She has been a frequent presenter at conferences, and she travels across the nation to mentor others in her job. Anne was always grateful that she was able to share her passion that she had for sharing her cooking skills with other people.
